Position Paper "Where Change Happens" published by OXFAM International and ARCO

OXFAM International and ARCO (Action Research Centre for Co-Development of the University of Florence) have recently published their Position Paper "Where Change Happens. Local Governance to tackle multidimensional poverty and inequality" that gives an important contribution to the debate about the role of local communities and the governance of territorial development in the fight against poverty and inequalities. These are themes that were the focus of attention in the KIP Pavilion at EXPO 2015.

OXFAM and ARCO are connected to the International Network of territorial development experiences, born in KIP Pavilion at EXPO 2015, which launched the Manifesto for the development cooperation of the territories. This Network is organizing with the aim of building an international cooperation programme aimed at improving the development capacity of local actors through exchanges of experience, in light of preparing the first International Conference of the World Cooperation System for Territorial Development.
