René Cassin Award: success stories

Since 2009, the KIP Universitas Programme has been collaborating with the Legislative Assembly of the Emilia Romagna Region of Italy. Every year, a 10-month period of work-training is organized for the three prize winners in organizations engaged in important local development and human rights activities in countries as varied as Albania, Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Italy and Senegal.

The Rene Cassin Award is considered an example of a good practice of democratic governance and youth opportunity by the Legislative Assembly of the Emilia Romagna Region.

We asked former prize-winners to tell us how their careers have developed since completing their Rene Cassin experiences. To read some of their stories, click here.
