Autumn School on Social Professions

27 September-1 October 2010

From 2009 - 2010, Universitas collaborated with UNDP Morocco, The Ministry of Social Development, Family and Solidarity (MDSFS) and The Ministry of Higher Education, to meet the country's goal of forming 10,000 professionals in social fields by the year 2012. More specifically, the collaboration was aimed at supporting the University Mohammed II of Oujda, in the Oriental Region, and other institutional and associative partners from the Region that were already engaged in developing training initiatives for social professionals. To do this, a pilot "training-of-trainers" initiative was developed that focussed both on developing teaching curriculum and experimenting participatory and multi-actor methods of life-long learning and action research, in collaboration with several universities from Spain and Italy.

The final phase of this activity was a study tour and exchange of experiences between academics, researchers and social professionals in Spain and Italy. Here you will find the programme of the study tour and exchange of experiences realized with diverse partners engaged in social protection and human development initiatives in Siena, Italy.
